I have been a resident living in the North End and central foothills
of Boise for forty years. I am a married early-retired public school
teacher with four grown children and three beautiful preschool grandchildren. I
enjoy outdoor activities and also puttering in my yard and gardens. Preserving
open space, accessible trails, and maintaining the integrity of our foothills
neighborhood for the greater good of the community are important issues
that I feel very strongly about. |

Our family moved to Boise from Ketchum in 2004 shortly after I had my second child. Being able to get out and hike in the foothills behind our house was very important to me and my husband after living in a place where the Sawtooth range was practically in our backyard. Living so close to the Foothills allows us to regularly hike with our kids, and teach them the importance of respecting nature while appreciating the beauty of the land around Boise. Should we allow this land to be developed, we would surely lose part of what makes Idaho what it is—a one of a kind natural resource that deserves to be protected.

Hello! I was born and raised in Boise and currently work as a Realtor in the area. I fell in love with the hills and the outdoors at a very early age. I love to ski, board, bike, run, flyfish and everything outdoors! I chose to live in our neighborhood as the close proxemity to the Open Space is the best feature! My morning runs are some of my favorite times and I have enjoyed many beautiful sunrises and sunsets here. I'm dedicated to preserving the Open Space for future generations to enjoy. I'm very happy to be a part of CFNA and will work together with all of you to keep our neighborhood great and the open space accesible to all! |

Hi, I am a Registered Nurse at St. Alphonsus and I have lived in the neighborhood for 13 years. I love the outdoors and enjoy kayaking, skiing, mountain biking, backpacking and gardening. We moved here from the North End because we love hiking and running in the foothills with our dogs. I treasure our morning runs and evening walks. I love the wild flowers, foxes, birds, and wonderful views. I wanted to be involved with the CFNA because it would be tragic for the Boise Community to lose this wonderful place. |
