1) Reminder:

Tomorrow night, Tuesday, April 12, the Boise City Council (6pm at City Hall, 3rd floor), will decide on the subdivision proposal for the end of Lancaster Dr, Magal Subdivision. They will also be deciding on the appeal of the Hillside Development Permit. The appeal of Planning and Zoning’s approval of the Hillside Development Permit was made by our neighbor Tim Kessinger. The basis for his appeal and all the other documents are included in the file accessible in the link below.

Tim is willing to help you understand his position if necessary. He can be reached at 344-5305 or

Anyone is allowed to testify on the subdivision application. Three minutes each.  Only people who wrote or verbally testified at the P&Z hearing February 8, 2015 will be allowed to testify on the appeal portion.

Your engagement is important.  Please make time to attend the hearing tomorrow night.

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD), in cooperation with the City of Boise, is working on a plan to improve conditions for walking and biking in north Boise.

Need sidewalks & bike routes in your neighborhood?

ACHD is working on a plan to help improve walking and bicycling in North Boise.  They will be working with residents in the area to identify issues and concerns related to walking and biking in the community. Input from neighborhood residents will help identify policies and projects that can be implemented to support walking and biking in the area.

Your help is needed! There are two ways to provide input on what you think should be done to improve walking and biking in the North Boise area.
