Do you enjoy using the trails in Hillside to Hollow? You are invited to help name 9 trails in the 319-acre open space area in the North Boise Foothills.
It’s now time to vote for your favorite names for the Hillside to Hollow trails! Thank you to all submitted names during the allotted time period last week – there are lots to choose from. We have assembled the names in a list for each trail. Please vote ONCE for your favorite name for each trail. Voting will be open until midnight on January 4th. We will tally the votes and announce the winning trail names next week.

In keeping with naming protocols currently followed by Ridge to Rivers, we did have to delete trail names that appeared to reference individuals, as well as a handful of other proposed names deemed less than appropriate for the name of a public trail. We are extremely sorry for not making these guidelines known when this process began – this is the first such effort and sometimes you learn as you go! On the bright side, there are still plenty of names to choose from!
